J. Randolph Sanders, President

Randy Sanders joined TPR shortly after its inception in 1986. He has over 24-years experience in the design and development of non-impact printing products ranging from high-speed, high-performance to low-speed, low-cost monochrome and color systems. Mr. Sanders has led multi-disciplined development programs and commercialized products that have included cutting-edge technologies. Mr. Sanders' responsibilities have included technical program management and strategic product planning for individual products and complete product lines.

Mr. Sanders' areas of expertise include mechanical and electromechanical design, subsystem integration, paper handling, dry powder and liquid toner development, fusing, halftoning, and high-resolution color systems. He has held key engineering management positions with DatagraphiX Corporation and Unisys Corporation. Mr. Sanders holds patents related to electrophotographic processes with several additional patents pending. Mr. Sanders is a frequent lecturer at industry conferences and technical seminars. He earned a Bachelor and a Masters of Science, Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Florida.

Carlson Award" for outstanding work in the science or technology of electrophotography “for his innovation and leadership in the creation, incubation, development, and delivery of electrophotographic processes and products” by the Society for Imaging Science and Technology (IS&T).
