Digital Printing
The genesis of TPR has been product development in digital
printing. Our earliest projects have involved work in developing a
color printer. The professional and educational lives of our
founders and co-workers have largely been immersed in the printing
industry. Having completed over 1000 projects, the majority of them
have been directly related to the digital-printing world.
Our customers use us to provide engineering services or
technology for hardware or software in the areas of electrostatic,
thermal, or ink jet printing. Services as simple as reengineering a
printer subsystem such as a fuser roll or writing a software driver
for a printer have been supplied. Or we might complete a program as
complex as the design and development of an entire printer.
Or our involvement might be at some fundamental level - for
instance, process physics and chemistry, materials engineering,
mechanical or PCB design, color science or digital image processing.
In addition, we supply consulting, testing, and fixture
capabilities. Our global customers include all the large printer
names in the industry as well as many lesser-known companies.

TPR has conducted an extensive
test on the stability of photographic prints made from a variety of
systems from multiple vendors. The report compares the performance
of the various images under accelerated conditions to assess their
respective permanence and to make life projections. this is
